Computer Generated Imagery
MA Computer Generated Imagery
Computer Generated Imagery (CGI) is a popular area of study within the School. The postgraduate course aims to develop creative thinkers who can apply their skills and ideas through using models, animation, computer based techniques, traditional processes and productive methods or, alternatively, a combination of theses.
As part of our “Creative Studio Lab”, postgraduate CGI students have the opportunity to work with Illustrators, Graphic Designers and Interactive Multimedia designers and even Fine Artists. Our aim is to support the development of interesting practitioners who can develop characters and other themes appropriate to Film, Photography, Games, TV and other forms of broadcast media.
Students are offered the opportunity to engage with live and commercial projects when they become available and there are opportunities for students to stay and develop their emerging careers with us post-graduation, through our incubator networks.
Special features
The School has great links with other design and media schools and universities throughout the world. These provide opportunities for potential study visits and student exchange. These partnerships include Domus Academy, Milan/Rome; Academy Italiana, Florence/Rome; The Academy of Art & Design in Sofia; ICAT, Chennai, India and Renmin University, Beijing, China.
Career opportunities

We consider it very important that students are able to work internationally.
