Whether you are looking for a venue for your craft fair, conference, sporting event or simply want to play sport with your friends, contact Glyndŵr University Sport and we will try to accommodate your request.

Regular bookings

One-off

To book a facility for a single session, contact us on 01978 293275, email sportsbookings@glyndwr.ac.uk or call in at our Sports Centre reception. All we need is a name and contact telephone number. This option is only available for seven-day advance booking.

Block Booking

You can enter into either a six- or twelve-month contract with us for the hire of a facility. Block booking ensures your team has a repeated space for that time frame. Give us as much information about your booking as possible. At this stage we will give you a PROVISIONAL booking, which will be confirmed once we have sent you an application of hire form, you have returned it to Glyndŵr University Sport and a contract has been issued.

Major Event Booking

Here at Glyndŵr University Sport we have a wide range of expertise in organising events. We have in the past hosted events such as the Welsh National Badminton Championships, European Hockey and Commonwealth Veteran Fencing tournaments. Away from sport we have hosted the BBC’s Antiques Roadshow, careers fairs, and the BBC Wales Roadshow. We will always arrange a one-to-one meeting with clients to ensure all your requirements can be accommodated.

Facilities

The hall has the biggest floor space in the Wrexham area so can accommodate several traders or stalls. You can use the dance studio as a VIP area or as an area for stallholders to go and take a break. We also have access to lecture theatres and halls of residence (mainly outside term time).

How to Book

You can either call us on 01978 293275 or email sportsbookings@glyndwr.ac.uk to enquire about available dates. On receiving confirmation of your booking along with a pack providing you and your users with information about the centre and its rules and regulations you must return your signed contract to us before your booking is confirmed.
