Food and drink
There is a range of catering outlets across the Wrexham campus where students can eat, drink, relax and socialise in an environment that is as stylish and modern as can be found on the high street. There are also a number of vending machines located across the campus providing quick refreshments. The Plas Coch site hosts Scholar’s Rest, our main dining area, which offers everything from sandwiches and salads to breakfasts and complete evening meals. Special dietary requirements are catered for including halal, vegetarian and gluten free meals, and themed meals and barbecues take place at regular intervals. Other outlets at Plas Coch include Fellows Café Bar (a high street style coffee bar), Chapters Retail & Café Bar (an ‘essentials’ shop), Café Direct Vending Cartz (a self service facility in the library), and Café Darganfod in the Crispin Lane Building near Techniquest Glyndŵr. Also on site is Restaurant 1887, a great venue for a special meal out – reservations are required for the restaurant. On the Regent Street site, the North Wales School of Art & Design is served by Inspirations Café. Contact the Student Information Desk in the first instance for more information:
