Accommodation facilities are available at our partner college, Coleg Llysfasi, for students who are studying there (this is taken into account in the information contained in the university’s Key Information Sets). For further information, please refer to the college website.
Useful information
- All properties are self-catering
- Resident students are required to provide their own personal crockery/cooking utensils and bedding (ie linen, duvet and pillow)
- Electricity, heating and other services are included, but monitored
- Students are required to take out their own insurance to cover personal belongings
- Accommodation is offered on either
- Semester one – September to February
- Semester two – February to June
- Fixed standard 37 week contract from September to June
- Snowdon Hall and Wrexham Village both have a fixed contract for 40 weeks from September to June.
NB Students requiring additional weeks beyond the standard contract period will need to apply separately. Information on this will be in your terms and conditions.
If you are looking to live in private rented accommodation we have set a benchmark for this too. Since 2011, only landlords accredited by Landlords Accreditation Wales are listed through our accommodation web register, an online portal called Student Pad, where you can search for properties to rent in and around Wrexham.
