Glyndŵr University Northop
A beautiful setting for land-based learningLocated in Northop, Flintshire and overlooking the Dee Estuary, the new Glyndŵr University Northop campus is set in the heart of beautiful North Wales countryside. The Northop campus is a prime example of the University's considered expansion. Based within a rural setting yet conveniently located just off the A55, it is the hub for all the University's land-based educational provision. The campus has the advantage of being less than 15 miles from both Wrexham and Chester. The historic market town of Mold is just 3 miles away. With room for expansion at the site it will grow to encompass a research centre for biodiversity, rural management and sustainability, and sport and the environment. Facilities for students and businessThere has been a significant investment recently in the buildings and campus which now boasts refurbished student accommodation, lecture rooms, conference facilities, sports hall, workshops and laboratories. Students at Northop have the opportunity to use Deeside College facilities, such as the equine unit and glasshouses at the site. The estate is being developed to provide a wide range of learning environments and land use facilities for students, including:
Put your studies into practiceThe stunning location and fantastic facilities provide the perfect setting for our land-based students to put their studies and learning into practice.
