![]() Located in Northop, Flintshire and overlooking the Dee Estuary, the new Glyndŵr University Northop campus is set in the heart of beautiful North Wales countryside. The Northop campus is a prime example of the University's considered expansion. Based within a rural setting yet conveniently located just off the A55 it is the hub for all the University's land-based educational provision.
The campus has the advantage of being under 15 miles from both Wrexham and Chester. The historic market town of Mold is just 3 miles away. With room for expansion at the site it will grow to encompass a research centre for biodiversity, rural management and sustainability, and sport and the environment. There has been a significant investment recently in the buildings and campus which now boasts refurbished student accommodation, lecture rooms, conference facilities, sports hall, workshops and laboratories.
