Thank you for your interest in Glyndŵr University’s open days.
We hold a number of open days throughout the year to give you an idea what it’s like to study at Glyndŵr University.
Our next one will be on Saturday, June 1 2013 from 10am and we hope you can make it. To register your interest in this open day or to secure your place, you can do it now through our online booking form.
Our open days are aimed at anyone who is thinking about making an application to Glyndŵr University or who is interested in finding out more about what we have to offer and the degree programmes available here.
What to expect from an open day

Academics from each course will be on hand to discuss their programmes with you

Explore the campus yourself or take a guided campus tour.

See some of our facilities such as the Centre for the Creative Industries

Our engineering labs will be open, see our flight simulator and performance car laboratories

Visit our new student bar – The Centenary Club and see what Wrexham has to offer – sport, shopping, nightlife, art, entertainment and more!

Talks about our accommodation – find out what you need to know

One-to-one advice and guidance on student fees and funding
Open day times
10am: Registration in the main foyer (arrival at 10am is not compulsory, so visitors shouldn’t feel pressured to rush)
10am-2pm: Academics from all subject areas available to speak to visitors one to one, in some cases offering group discussions and tours of facilities. Location of subject areas TBC (but mostly based in library, main building, Centre for Creative Industries and North Wales School of Art and Design).
11am, 12pm & 1pm: Accommodation talks/tours commencing from Edward Llwyd Centre Lecture Theatre A.
10am (and every 20 minutes, until 1.20pm): Campus tours, commencing from John Troth Lecture Theatre.
Other facilities open: Centre for Creative Industries, Centre for the Child Family & Society, North Wales School of Art & Design, Engineering labs (including flight simulator), Advanced Composites Centre, Glyndwr University Northop (minibus transport is available if visitors need to use it).
