Accommodation available on campus

Glyndŵr University is reminding students that a limited number of rooms are still available on its Wrexham campus for students starting in September 2011.

A range of options are open to students, and the university is confident it will be able to offer accommodation to students in Clearing.

Prices will be around £88.95 for a single en-suite room in the popular Student Village, while there are also rooms available in the recently-opened Wrexham Village development starting from £98.

Lynda Powell, the university’s Director of Campus Management and Commercial Services, said: “It offers real peace of mind for students to know that they will be able to get good quality, reasonably-priced accommodation on the campus.

“Our accommodation is frequently praised for its value for money. In the Times University Guide 2010 it was found to be the cheapest in Wales and third cheapest in the UK as a whole.”

All university accommodation is within easy reach of university facilities and Wrexham’s vibrant town centre, as well as enjoying good travel connections through the nearby railway station.

Earlier this year Glyndŵr University launched a new online accommodation booking system, making it easy for students to book their room.

Lynda added: “The feedback we’ve had from students is that the online system is a really quick and efficient way to book a room with us.

“I would urge any students joining us through Clearing in 2011 to book a room as soon as possible to avoid disappointment.”
