NEWI’s nursing students were out to impress yesterday when they held an event to present their final year work. Forty eight students displayed the findings from their final year projects to a wide and varied audience including fellow students, lecturers and NHS trust managers. The post-registration students are completing the BSc (Hons) Applied Community and Health Studies, the BSc (Hons) Nursing studies and postgraduate diploma programmes offered at NEWI. The students had quite a challenge to prepare their displays, as they had strict criteria to meet for displaying their key findings, conclusions and recommendations from their detailed dissertations. The displays were assessed by their lecturers and the NHS trust managers and will form part of their final result. |
