A little about us

Glyndŵr University is a thriving part of the North East Wales community and has a strong presence in the cultural activities of the local area. We are ideally situated less than a mile from Wrexham town centre and are committed to bringing a year-round programme full of events to suit the whole family.

The William Aston Hall is the largest of our venues and is a tiered theatre seating 850 with full stage facilities. This can be screened off to provide a smaller theatre (seats 500).

The Catrin Finch Centre is a £3m state-of-the-art performance and conference centre which opened its doors in March 2009. Offering unparalleled ultra-modern facilities with high-tech audio and visual technology, the Catrin Finch Centre is ideal for small-scale theatre productions, plays, smaller music events, creative art workshops/training courses as well as conferences, meetings, exhibitions and receptions.

There is full disabled access in both venues. We provide top-class facilities and our dedicated staff will do all they can to ensure your event runs smoothly from your initial booking at the box office, right the way through to your final drink at the bar after the show.
