Capturing the Patient Story: A Health Professions Conference
Monday 21 June 2010
Catrin Finch Conference Centre, Glyndŵr University, Wrexham
Cost: £25 per person (includes food and refreshments). Students and people on a low income should contact conference chairperson Professor Alex Carson for concessions.
The conference is jointly organised by Glyndŵr University, Betsi Cadwaladr University Health Board and North Wales Health Services Research Alliance and is aimed at all staff across health, social care and academic sectors.
Aims of Capturing the Patient Story conference
- To share experiences of using the patient’s story in research, education and practice
- To explore the value of the patient’s story in professional practice
- To begin to develop a community of practice in the use of the patient’s story
- To situate narratives in the current clinical and research context
