Abstract: A relatively new form of computer mediated communication termed microblogging has resulted in what could be considered a live feed into the conscious thoughts (expressed in 140 characters or less!) of those who use it. We know how it works, but what has not yet been measured is what happens as a result of it.
This seminar on an early stage research project explores what microblogging has achieved so far and asks more questions about privacy, community and online behaviour.
