Dr. Zhishun She

Reader in Electronic Engineering

 
Zhishun She completed a Bachelor of Radio Engineering in 1986 and received an MSc degree in Circuits, Signals and Systems in 1989, both from Southeast University China. Then he worked at the Department of Electronic Engineering, Nanjing University of Aeronautics & Astronautics (NUAA) from 1989 to 1996 as an assistant professor, a lecturer and an associate professor. In July 1996 he began his PhD program with an Overseas Postgraduate Research Scholarship (OPRS) from the Australian Research Council (ARC) and an Adelaide University Scholarship (UAS). In 2000 he obtained his PhD degree from the University of Adelaide, Australia. He was also with the Co-operative Research Centre for Sensor Signal and Information Processing (CSSIP), Australia. After that Dr She became a research fellow at Bangor University, working on an EPSRC research grant on medical image processing. In 2003 he joined Glyndwr as a lecturer. Currently he is a Reader in Electronic Engineering. Dr She has also been a guest professor at Southwest University China. His research interests include signal and image processing with applications to remote sensing, radar and medical diagnosis.
