The Students’ Union has now joined together with Glyndŵr University to form the new Students’ Guild. The Students’ Guild works closely with the National Union of Students (NUS) and also the University itself to provide quality services for our students. The Students’ Guild is here as a representative body for the students. It is run for the students, by the students. Here at the Guild, we aim to promote the welfare and equality of the students at Glyndŵr University and to promote an exciting student experience for all. We are here to offer support to anyone who feels they have any issues whilst they are studying at the University, and work together to provide a solution as quickly as possible

The Students’ Guild will play a vital role in your time at Glyndŵr University. As well as offering advice, guidance and information, we also help and encourage students to run and participate in clubs, societies and the Athletic Union.Ths is all aimed to get students more involved with the Guild and to help the students meet likeminded people.

In addition to this, we aim to offer you an extensive range of entertainment in the bar, catering for all interests, so that we can enhance your social experience here at Glyndŵr University. There are already a wide range of acts booked for the academic year, including the Greg James (Radio 1 D.J), 90’S hit band ‘Things Can Only Get Better’ D:REAM, the Cheeky Girls, Alan Fletcher  (aka Dr Karl Kennedy from neighbours) in the band ‘Waiting Room’ and finally ‘the One and Only’ Chesney Hawkes.
