Options with your Subject - these guides from Prospects should give you some ideas about what to do with your degree, covering over 60 subjects. Remember that there are additional areas you could work in with any degree – these are just a selection

Try Using Interactive Software
- Prospects Planner is another interactive tool available online which generates ideas, identifies your skills and motivations, and allows you to see how well these match the jobs you are considering. It can be easier to go through Prospects Planner with a member of the Careers Centre staff, although you can access this anywhere - why not call in to the Careers Centre and use one of our PCs? We’re always happy to help you.
- Windmills - this quick interactive online tool can help you look at your skills, look at your ambitions and think about practical action you need to take to get there.

AGCAS Special Interest Series: Self-employment - Information on self-employment and help setting up your own business.
Jobfile 2008 – this book is available for reference in the Careers Centre, containing information on over 800 jobs, including those at graduate level. Includes details on pay, entry routes, similar jobs, useful subjects and skills, sources of further information.

Ready to Graduate? Don't Worry
Feel like graduation is looming and still not sure what you want to do? Don't panic.
- Remember, it's completely normal to feel that it's all an anti-climax after years of living a different lifestyle.
- As long as you're still a student you can make use of the Glyndwr University student counselling service if you feel you need to talk to someone about issues that are not careers-related.
- We have Careers Advisers ready to help you with your decision-making - book an individual appointment today
- Talk to your friends - you might be surprised to find that others around you are feeling the same way. If that's the case, why not come up to the Careers Centre or pop into the Jobshop together and we can show you around?
