Student support services

Glyndŵr University offers a wide range of support services to help you during your time here. These range from welfare services, including healthcare provision and disability support, to practical services such as photocopying and e-learning.

Most of our support services teams are based in the Edward Llwyd Centre on the Plas Coch campus. The Student Support Services team deals with accommodation, finance, welfare, disability support, counselling and the chaplaincy. Also in the building are the Library, IT Helpdesk, Careers Centre and the Student Information Desk (SID).

Active Childcare Ltd offers childcare facilities for Glyndŵr University students and staff, whilst HealthCentre@Glyndŵr University, our new health centre, provides services from our on-site nurses and a new doctor’s surgery.

There is a range of catering outlets on both the Plas Coch campus and Regent Street campus (for the North Wales School of Art & Design). Regent Street also houses a shop where you can purchase art materials.

Other facilities and support at Plas Coch include the Print Room, Sport@Glyndŵr University (the Plas Coch Sports Centre), the Postgraduate Office, Academic Registry, the International Office, and of course a thriving Students’ Union.
